For the month of December Making Space for Creativity to Embrace the Present Moment is the theme for Carrie’s December Monthly Meditation Membership. This membership includes 5 weekday morning guided meditations via zoom, 2, hour long varied guided meditations and discussion AND a weekly 30 minute 1:1 check-in with Carrie!
Meditations on December 2nd - 6th won’t be lead, but rather you will have the opportunity to join Carrie via zoom during her silent meditation retreat to walk and sit with her.
M-F @ 7:00-7:20 am CST Carrie leads guided meditation via zoom. Participate from the comfort of your own home. Roll out of bed and onto your cushion. *Receive pre-recorded meditations on December 24th & 25th.
Thursday @ 7:30-8:30pm CST Carrie leads Mindful Study Book Group which includes 2 twenty minute guided meditations and a 20 minute discussion on topics related to the book we will be using which is a vibrant, group guided discussion about topics and activities in the book of the month, as well as experiences that we are having based on our mindfulness practices. Throughout the month of December (and January), will be reading and doing the activities in “An Artful Path to Mindfulness - MBSR- Based Activities for Using Creativity to Reduce Stress and Embrace the Present Moment “ by Janet Slom. Carrie will use her varied meditation teachings to lead this group in a guided meditation each week. Due to the holidays, classes on Thursday, December 24th and 31st will be moved to Wednesday, December 23rd and 30th.
Sunday @ 8:00-9:00am CST Carrie leads a more traditional Zen meditation experience with a 20 minute guided sitting of Bare Awareness, a 10 minute walking meditation concluding with 20 minutes of Zazen (silent body and breath awareness). Stretching in between sittings.
1:1 with Carrie - a 30 minute weekly appointment for you to connect with what is arising for you during this practice. Carrie holds space for whatever that looks like and supports your journey. Questions can be asked, goals can be set. A listening, compassionate ear is there for you. You decide.
