Yoga in the Parks!

 

Outdoor Meditation & Yoga
Saturdays beginning June 8-29, 2024 @7:30-8:45am

Through West St. Paul & Mendota Heights Parks & Recreation @ Ivy Hills Park in Mendota Heights

Regular meditation dissipates accumulated stress and cultivates a state of restful alertness. Carrie Your Yogi will guide you in meditation for 20 minutes and then lead you in yoga postures with mindful breaths for 50 exhilarating minutes then ending with a 5 minute closing meditation.

Engage & Enliven Yoga in the Park Tuesdays beginning June 6-July 9, 2024 @6:00-7:00pm

Through West St. Paul and Mendota Heights Parks and Recreation. This class will take place at Ivy Hills Park in Mendota Heights on the south end of the park near the water.

Come, ENGAGE with your body and your life!  Set aside time to ENLIVEN your summer and reap the benefits of a movement practice in the fresh air.  The benefits of yoga are wide:

  • it improves strength, balance & flexibility (both in body and in mind). 

  • benefits heart health

  • it can increase energy and brighten moods

  • it can lower levels of stress in the body 

  • It helps bring awareness to the body sensations

  • It helps with sleep

Carrie Your Yogi believes if you can breathe, you can do yoga! This is a 6-week class series for every body! Each week Carrie will guide you through breathing exercises and yoga shapes that are made accessible for all different bodies.

Be Brave Yoga! in the Park

Begins June 6-August 29, 2024 @Summit Overlook Park

2 classes - 5-7pm & 6:15-7pm

These classes are donations based. (cash or Venmo)

    During each 60 minute class, Carrie will guide you through breathing exercises and yoga shapes that are made accessible for all different bodies. Find the courage within yourself, bring balance into your life, and get stronger and healthier inside and out. These classes are offered through Fitness in the Parks.
